1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using the Hyrox PFT platform (“Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Platform.

2. The Platform

Hyrox PFT provides a competition management and results platform for Hyrox Performance & Fitness Testing events. Features include athlete registration, heat management, time capture, and public scoreboard publication.

3. Accounts

  • You must provide accurate and complete information when registering.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.
  • You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.

4. Athlete participation

By registering for an event through the Platform, you confirm that:

  • You are medically fit to participate in the event.
  • You accept all risks associated with competitive fitness testing.
  • You consent to your name and competition results being published on public scoreboards, which may be viewed by anyone.
  • You will comply with all rules and instructions issued by event organisers.

5. Results and scoreboards

Competition results, including your name, finish time, category, and ranking, will be published publicly on event scoreboards. Results are considered final once published unless an official protest or correction process is initiated by the event organiser.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform.
  • Submit false or misleading information.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Platform or its infrastructure.
  • Impersonate any person or entity.

7. Intellectual property

All content on the Platform, including software, design, text, and graphics, is owned by or licensed to Hyrox PFT and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hyrox PFT is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Platform. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us (if any) in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

10. Third-party services

The Platform may integrate with or link to third-party services. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of such third-party services.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you breach these Terms or if we reasonably believe your use of the Platform poses a risk to other users or to us. You may close your account at any time by contacting us.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email or via a notice on the Platform. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.
